Quick History
Our luxury
mobile toilet business was originally a franchise set up in 1991
as a sideline to our small family business however it was an instant
success and soon became a full time occupation.
In 2000 We
left the franchise and became independent taking the name Classical
Conveniences and expanding our luxury loo hire to become the leading
specialists in the supply of luxury portable toilets in Hertfordshire,
Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and London.
Although we
have expanded our fleet to provide a comprehensive range and now
have several full time staff the company is still owned and run
by Susan Cross and her son Stephen on the same principles that were
applied when the company was first started; A product tailored to
a specific market brought to our clients by people who are passionate
about quality and service.

Our
Vehicle Range
In the last 13
years of delivering portable toilets we have tested many makes of four
wheel drive vehicle however we have always found Land Rover to be the
most suited to our needs. Many people assume that for a four wheel drive
to work it has to tear up the ground and make lots of mess however a
capable vehicle such as a Land Rover creates little wheel spin and so
can cross soft ground with little or no damage.
This is essential for us as it means we can drive over our customers
precious lawns and gardens with the minimum of damage. A good four wheel
drive system also removes the need for aggressive off road style tyres
which can also do damage.
The Land Rover
Defenders and Discoveries we use make excellent towing vehicles for
our fleet of luxury mobile toilets, safe for our drivers and other road
users and their load carrying capacity means we can fully equip them
for any eventuality when we arrive on site.
We are happy to
support a company based in Britain, such as Land Rover, and their traditions
of good engineering and innovation as we believe these things are also
important in our business.

Music
to your Ears
As our name suggests
all our mobile toilets come with stereo CD quality classical music in
the vanity areas. The loos come with a compilation of some of the most
popular classical artists like Mozart, Beethoven and Bruch to provide
a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. We find that this is a popular talking
point and will be another reason why your guests remember your event.
If you wish we can install a CD provided by you however we cannot guarantee
the CD will not be damaged so please do not give us anything that is
rare or personally important. The CD players are only accessible by
our staff so if you do have a CD you wish to be played then please give
it to our staff on delivery of the unit.
